Why do you use aluminium cans – is that safe?

Aluminium cans are a more effective choice for storing hydrogen-enriched water thanks to their tightness and impermeability, their protection against light and their stability. They are also lightweight, robust and recyclable. In addition, we use a double coating in our cans that is completely safe for your health. This means the aluminium never comes into contact with the water. During production, we deliberately avoided using bisphenol A in the double inner coating of the cans. They are therefore BPA-free.

Yes, there are over 1,000 scientific studies investigating the positive health effects of molecular hydrogen. After opening: molecular hydrogen is a gas and escapes over time. That's why we recommend drinking AWAKE as soon as possible after opening. This way the hydrogen is optimally available. During production, we use a special high-pressure process to bind the hydrogen stably in the drink. After opening, you should ideally drink AWAKE within about 30 minutes. If the can or bottle is resealed and stored cool in the meantime, this period can be extended.

After the minimum term ends, your subscription can be cancelled conveniently on a monthly basis. When will my order be shipped if I pay by direct debit?

If you pay by direct debit, it may take a little longer for your order to be shipped. Once the amount has been debited from your account, our payment provider Stripe usually needs 7 to 14 days to fully process the payment. Only after the payment has reached us is your order processed and shipped. Please factor in this additional time when ordering. If you'd like to shorten the waiting time, you can easily change the payment method to PayPal or credit card in your account. With these payment methods, the payment is processed faster and your order can be shipped correspondingly sooner.

Why do I see a charge of €1 / $1 on PayPal?

For subscriptions or recurring payments, PayPal carries out a small verification charge (e.g. €1 or $1). PayPal uses this to check that your account is valid and that future payments can be executed correctly. This charge is not a real debit. The amount is either automatically released again or never finally booked. Depending on your bank, it may take a few business days to disappear. Important for you: AWAKE does not receive this amount, and it is not a double or hidden payment.
